If you have formed a strong bond with your regular bicycle, but could do with a little extra pedal power – then great news… we can electrify your ride with a rear wheel drive e-bike conversion system.

Endorsed by BikeRadar, Electroheads, The Times, Yahoo, T3 and Engadget – the boost bike system can be fitted to a multitude of bikes and offers you up to 50km, (30 miles) range on a single charge – and additional spare batteries can be purchased if you wish for a longer ride out.
Have you tested the Boost® e-bike conversion system?
Yes. We tested it for 9 weeks on rides into work and it did shave considerable time off the overall route! Our rigorous testing has been to ensure its performance and longevity – and it passed with flying colours.
What is the range with the conversion kits fitted?
On a single charge the kit will give you a 50km, (30 mile) range – and additional spare batteries can be purchased if you wish for a longer ride out.
What bikes is the conversion kit suitable for?
Whilst there are a handful it won’t be suitable for, the kit can be fitted to the majority of; Road bikes, Hybrid bikes, Mountain & Suspension Mountain bikes, Bromptons and other Small bikes, including Moultons etc too.
In some instances, we’ve built custom wheels to accommodate the kit to ensure it can fit to your existing bike frames, and carry the weight. (The kit will add approximately 3.5 kilos to the overall weight of your bike).
Are different kits available for different riders and types of bikes?
Boost’s philosophy is that the best electric bike is the bicycle you already own – just upgraded to be electric and give you that extra bit of pedal power. Cheaper, lighter and better for the environment than buying a new eBike and can be just as effective. There are options for Rear wheel (EG Boost), Mid drive, and Front wheel (EG Swytch). So ensure if you’re considering one you choose the correct one.

What costs are involved?
For the kit, plus custom wheels you can expect to pay roughly £750. Additional batteries, £200. Each bike will be assessed by the team on a case-by-case basis and a fixed cost provided.
