Proud to Sponsor Alton Cycling Club

Passionate about community and run solely by volunteers, Alton Cycling Club was originally conceived in 1878. Whilst the club has seen some diversification since this date, their philosophy and success can be directly attributed to the dedicated members that make up their group. The club is closely affiliated to the national bodies for cycle racing, British Cycling and Cycling Time Trials.

With road cycling forming a good portion of the clubs weekends, and occasional weekday activities, you’ll also find opportunity to get involved with some track, MTB, gravel and Zwift riding too. Members can also participate in an annual training camp, or experience mini bike-packing trips in the UK too.

We Recommend The Cricketers Inn

Conveniently located over the road from our store, The Cricketers Inn provides a great refuelling station, or resting place for weary riders.

Built in 1859, The Cricketers Inn offers guests an authentic English pub experience, with menus incorporating locally-sourced ingredients, fresh seasonal produce, meat and dairy from nearby farms, and a wide selection of English wines.

Six beautifully appointed rooms offer guests a comfortable abode in the evening, leaving them refreshed and ready to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside of the South Downs.
